CTET exam is being conducted today in some states/ UT’s where it was postponed because of elections.
CTET 2012 test which was scheduled on Jan 29,2012 has been postponed on advise from Election Commission to 5th May 2012 on account of General Election for Legislative Assemblies in the states of Manipur, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
CTET 2012 examination has been postponed to 5th May 2012 (Saturday) by CBSE in above mentioned states. The details of postponed examination are as follows:

CTET Examination January 2012 has also been postponed in cities of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali according to latest update from CBSE. So all the candidates who were supposed to appear from above mentioned examination centers, are now requested to wait till 5th of May 2012.
Therefore, candidates who were going to appear from above examination centers are advised to preserve their Admit Card with them till 5th May 2012 to appear in the examination.
In the remaining states the CTET JAN 2012 examination will be held as per the Schedule on 29.01.2012 (Sunday).
CTET May 2012 exam is expected to be conducted according to following time table/ schedule:
