Admission in Class XI in Maharashtra for CBSE Students 2012

In CCE system, student’s performance has been assessed using conventional numerical marking mode, and the same have been converted into the grades on the basis of the pre-determined marks ranges.
The “Grade Sheet cum Certificate of Performance” issued by the Board for Secondary School Examination (Session 2010-12) shall have only grades.
However, it has been informed by the Maharashtra Government that they will be using only marks to decide admission in Class XI. Therefore, in order that the students passing out of CBSE affiliated schools and seeking admission in Maharashtra State Institution in Class XI do not suffer, the following has been decided:-
- The CBSE will give marks of Class X Board Examination 2012 to all its affiliated schools in Maharashtra to enable them to put the same on the students’ application forms for admission to colleges in Maharashtra in Class XI.
- The CBSE will also give soft copies of Class X Results (School wise) of schools affiliated to CBSE in Maharashtra to Director, Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Maharashtra (and any other officer deputed by him) so that any verification required by admission authorities may be done, as the CBSE in this year will not issue any mark sheet.
For the students of CBSE affiliated schools outside Maharashtra State, the following four schools have been identified as Guidance Centres to enable such students to fill up their forms:-

The students applying from outside Maharashtra State will be helped by these Guidance Centres in filling up the forms.’
In case of any offline filling up the application forms, the certification of marks by the respective Principal based on data provided by the CBSE will be accepted by the Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Maharashtra. The above has been agreed by the Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Government of Maharashtra, and informed to all its offices in the State of Maharashtra.

MY RELATIVE HAS PASSED HIS 10TH FROM CBSE BOARD FROM CHATTISGARH (out of Maharashtra) & SEEKING ADMISSION IN PUNE – MAHARASHTRA BOARD. HOWEVER THERE CERTAIN ISSUES I AM FACING: 1) THE ORIGINAL RESULTS IS STILL TO COME OUT. EXPECTED AROUND THE END OF THE MONTH. 2) THE RESULTS ON THE NET IS GRADE BASED & NOT MARKS. I HAVE GOT THE MARKS CONVERTED IN TO PERCENTAGE BUT THE CENTRALIZED ADMISSION FORM FOR STD. 11th REQUIRES THE TOTAL NO. OF MARKS AS WELL. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH 4 GUIDANCE CENTRE SET UP BY CBSE IN MUMBAI FOR HELPING OUT OF STATE STUDENT SEEKING ADMISSION IN MAHARASHTRA BOARD BUT HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM EITHER THROUGH MAIL/PHONE.
