Bachelor of Science (Nursing) 2011-2012

Applications are invited for candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc Nursing degree (basic) at NEIGRIHMS which will commence 04th July, 2011(Monday)

The entrance examination will be held on 19th June, 2011 (Sunday)

Last date for receipt of completed application forms at examination cell, NEIGIRIHMS, Director’s Block, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya-793018 is 21st April, 2011 by 4.00 p.m. (by person or by post)

The prospectus-cum-application form can be obtained in the following manner

By persons: The prospectus-cum-application form can be obtained personally from NEIGRIHMS counter from 01st March, 2011 to 14th April, 2011 (10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.), against a demand draft/ banker cheque of Rs 500/- in favour of Director, NEIGRIHMS payable at Shillong from Monday to Friday except central government holidays

By post: Prospectus cum application form can also be obtained by sending a written request to the in-charge examination cell, NEIGRIHMS, Director’s block, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018 enclosed with a demand draft/banker cheque of Rs 550/-

Candidates should enclose unstamped self address envelope of size 25cm x 15cm

The demand draft/banker cheque should be made in favour of Director, NEIGRIHMS, payable at Shillong and should be valid for approximately six months from the date which NEIGRIHMS received

The words request for application form for B.Sc (Nursing) entrance examination-2011 should be written on the envelope containing request for application. The address at which application form is required should be written clearly in capital letters

NEIGRIHMS will not be held responsible for illegible or incomplete address given in the request for application or postal delay or non-receipt of application form

Prospectus cum application form can be downloaded from the Institute website and the application form number will be given by NEIGRIHMS once the application form is received and processed. All downloaded forms must be submitted along with the demand draft/banker’s cheque in original

Money order/personal cheque/postal order/cash or any other mode of payment will be not accepted. Only application forms obtained from the Institute or downloaded from the Institute website is valid. Forms obtained from an unauthorized source will be rejected. Forms from prospectus should not be photocopies. Candidates are advised to procure application forms as early as possible instead of waiting for the last date

The entrance examination is being held for 50 (fifty) open seats

Issue of duplicate admit card: 17th-18th June, 2011

Date of examination: 19th June, 2011, Sunday

Results on or before: 23rd June, 2011

1st counseling and admission: 27th June, 2011

2nd counseling and admission (if required): 28th June, 2011

Commencement of classes: 4th July, 2011

Result will be displayed on the notice board, Director’s Block, NEIGRIHMS,
Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018 and also available on http://www.neigrihms.nic.in, telephone queries regarding result of individual candidates will not be entertained
