Physics formulas for high school
Density is mass per unit volume
Density = mass / volume
velocity = displacement / time
Force = rate of change of momentum
Momentum = mass . velocity
Power is rate of work done
Power = work / time
Unit of power is watt
Potential energy (P)
PE = m.g.h
m = mass
g = acceleration due to gravity (9.81m/s2)
h = height
Kinetic energy (P)
P = (1/2).m.v2
m = mass
v = velocity
Ohm’s law
V = I . R
V = voltage applied
R = Resistance
I = current
Electric power (P) = (voltage applied) x (current)
P = V . I = I2 . R
V = voltage applied
R = Resistance
I = current
OPTICS
Index of refraction
n = c/v
n – index of refraction
c – velocity of light in a vacuum
v – velocity of light in the given material

It is said that the speed of light decreases when it passes from a optically rarer medium into a optically denser medium. Then the speed of light again increases when it emerges out of the medium.From where does the light particles get the required energy to accelerate its speed when it emerges out of the optically denser medium into a optically rarer medium.
i want full formula of chemistry i am studing in standard 10 . and i want imp of maths for board exam.
on what factors does the resistance of a conductor depend on it s based on electricity
???????
pls give more formulas of 10 standard with full explanation of formulas
The formulas given here are good and useful but I need more formulas related to optics.
By the way I’m gulminha
Is it possible to see the electronic configuration of any element through an electron microscope.( I mean can we see the electrom moving in the shells.
Hi i am md ali raza.can you explain how we can solve numericals problem easily.
The formulas given here are good and useful but I need more formulas related to optics.
By the way I’m Mrinal.
An electric kettle is rated 500W, 220W. It is used to heat 400 g of water for 30 seconds. Assuming the voltage to be 220V, Calculate the rise in the temperature of the water. Specific heat capacity of water = 4200 J/kg deg
you have many magnesium ribbon which burns ununiformly.
the whole ribbons burns in 60 minutes.
how much length or percentage of ribbon will in 30 minutes?.
v=10
u=5
a=?
t=10
v=u+at
10=5+a.10 is ka answer 0.5 to ye kaise aaya…
Can anyone make Physics interesting?
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh……………
bored
@dhwanil with the help of mass spectrometer they bombard the neutrons so tht there will be fusion occuring due to which the hydrogen will be helium!!!

usha swimmings in a 90 meters long pool. she covers 180 meters in 1 minute by swimming from one end to the other and back along the same straight path find the average speed
How to learn physics ? how keep in mind the formule and solve questions

An object 3cm high is placed perpendicular to the principal axis of cancave lens of focal length 7.5cm
the image is formed at the distance of 5cm from
the lens. tell the nature of the object?
a heavier body and a lighter body are moving with the same velocity.explain which of them can do more work????
Hi i am aravind. Can you explain about the transfer of current(flow of electrons) ie.between a positive terminal to a negative terminal,for instance,how does the electron originate from the positive terminal and go towards the negative terminal..?? Why is it(electron-a negative charged particle) attracted towards a negative terminal..?? Usually similar charges repel… I still dont understand it… Pl can you explain….
Thank you.
