CBSE Date Sheet
CBSE Date Sheet 2011 for Class X is announced can be accessed directly at cbsedatesheet.org
The CBSE date sheet is not only popular for its schedule activities that are implemented well in advance, but also known for its ‘delaying’ rumors!
The CBSE date sheet is quite popular, because it announces the date and timings of the exams. Since, it is responsible for managing many all India level exams, its date sheet is of course important, not only to the students/professionals, but also for the schools and education institutions, colleges/universities.
The CBSE date sheet enables the students to schedule their preparation accordingly. It also helps the school management to make the necessary arrangements for the exams, especially for the board exams. The dates and time schedule for the entrance exams would be displayed, much in prior to the actual exam dates. Hence, the students and the school management would have ample time on hand to prepare for the exams. During this time, the students would be asked to get their hall tickets and to finish the other required formalities before the examination. The entrance exam dates and time schedule would be displayed in the respective exam websites, i.e. for example, the exam dates and time schedule for AIEEE would be displayed only in the AIEEE official website. Thus, the CBSE date sheets would be available to entrance level exams, like AIEEE and AIPMT. One can find the links to AIEEE and AIPMT websites, via the CBSE website itself.
The compartmental exams are conducted to provide the candidates with chances to get passed in the subject/subjects in which, they have obtained a fail mark. The CBSE actually provides the candidates with 5 chances to clear the subject/subjects, provided the candidates have scored pass marks in all the internal assessments. Any candidate can attend these examinations, including the private candidate. The CBSE date sheet, also announces the schedule details of the ‘Grade Improvement Exams’ for the 10th standard. This exam is actually conducted as a performance improvement exam for the students, especially provided with 5 attempts for the 10th standard CBSE students. The students, who have scored ‘E’ grades in the 10th exam can, attend this exam to improve their grades to next higher grades. Hence, the CBSE date sheet can also be named as a notice board, as it basically disseminates the information necessary to the schools and the students, via its date sheets. The date sheet consists of the following details:
- Time, Day and the date of the examination.
- It displays the examination category, i.e. whether it is secondary education, or higher secondary education.
- It displays the subject names, along with the subject codes.
If to mention the disadvantages of having the date sheets, then we could list the influence of the public happenings in the CBSE board examinations, especially connected with the central government events/activities. Because of this, unnecessary rumors are often spread among the CBSE affiliated schools/institutions. These situations put the parents and the students in vain, this doesn’t stop with this, because the teachers and the school management too facing huge difficulties in consoling the parents and their children. The schools generally feel the pressure of comforting the parents and the students, because they don’t have control on hands and wouldn’t be clear, until the CBSE date sheets hit the notice board of the schools.
